Todays Tiger gossip...rather boring.
After his interview with ESPN Tiger also granted a small interview to the Golf Channel. During this interview he was asked “It’s been reported that members of your team, your inner circle were involved in your misdoings, is it true?”
Tiger replied “That is not true; it was all me. I’m the one who did it, I’m the one who acted the way I acted, no one knew what was going on. I’m sure if more people would have known in my inner circle they would’ve, they would’ve stopped it … or tried to put a stop to it, but I kept it all to myself.”
According to TMZ however, Tiger's childhood friend and employee Bryon Bell was responsible for planning the Australian vacation Tiger took with one of his mistresses, Rachel Uchitel. Now the media is trying to spin the scandalous story that Tiger is still lying and keeping secrets by covering up for his friend. I personally think that Tiger is finally acting like a respectable adult. He is trying to take full responsibility for his actions and for all of the hurt that he caused along the way. Good for you Tiger.

Another blow for Rosenwein's theory of media. You really are using The Tiger narrative as a basis for asserting and assessing your value system. what does it mean to be responsible? What does it mean to be an adult? Celebrity behavior is like a canvas on which we paint a portrait of who and what we are and where we stand. Cool stuff!
